Lady DEATH

Another morning blog! I'm writing this before my shower so I will try to type quickly so I will get this written with enough time to wash my hair, which takes a WHILE.

So I am off work today! And if you are wondering why I am blogging at 8am on my day off Will wanted me to get up early to go grocery shopping. Apparently Will doesn't do lazy mornings laying in bed, even when we are both off work. I'm in a bit of a dressing up mood so I am making a bit of effort appearance wise today. Even though I haven't decided which dress I want to wear yet. I've narrowed it down between my red summer dress or my floral summer dress. I haven't even started thinking about shoes yet.

I'm writing this with wet nails, hopefully the keys of my keyboard wont ruin them.

So since I have nothing better to write about I am going to list the contents of my handbag. Yes I carry one when I'm not at work, because I am a lady after all. Also I am cleaning it out at the moment, hence the random blog topic.

• My mobile phone: It has a little chainsaw phone charm I made myself and has a photo of me and Will as its background. It what I use to update my facebook/twitter when I'm working.
  
• Several lip glosses and lip balms: I have no idea why I have so many but my strawberry one is my favourite. It makes my kisses taste so sweet~
  
• My big black and red sunglasses or my heart shaped sunglasses: Handy for hiding away when I don't have any make up on, and lets not forget when it is too sunny as well.
  
• Nail file and nail polish: In case I need to fix my nails when I'm out.
  
• My i-pod: Red with red ear phones. I also covered it in glittery heart stickers.
  
• My DEATH list: Well what else would you find in a reapers handbag?
• My red feather topped pen: Its so CUTE! and Fluffy~
  
• My Make up bag.
  
• My purse: with my fake human drivers license, cafe loyalty cards and a picture of Will in it.
  
• A small tub of solid perfume.

I think that's everything, unless you count the collection of receipts I always have littering the bottom of my bag.
I don't know why I wrote that list, ah well, at least you all know what is in my pretty red bag.

Overtime Blues

I bet you all thought I had vanished. Let's just say I haven't had a very good week. At the moment I am being worked to DEATH☆. I have spent the last few days buried under a mountain of paperwork with only tormenting interns to serve as my entertainment. Even my appearance is starting to suffer! My gorgeous hair has been tied back and I haven't had time to do my nails. To make matters worse Ronald said I looked very manly today. I want to die! Well OK I want to take a nap, do my hair and make up and then die so I will leave a beautiful corpse, but that's not the point. I cant take this any more! I want all of this work to end so I can go back to being lazy and avoiding overtime. If this goes on much longer I am going to start working with a bag over my head.

Also everyone else has been just as busy. Well Will has been any way. So I don't even have my live-in-lover to make me feel better, which is making very, very FRUSTRATED!

Well that was just a quick update and I now I am going to get some beauty sleep before I go back to doing yet more work.

Shopping and a Bit of a Confession

I have to confess to something before Ronald Knox mentions it on his blog and then I will never hear the end of it. At the moment I am missing half an eyebrow. I told William and the other shinigami that Ronald did it to me when he was messing around but really I did it myself, by accident when I was reshaping my eyebrows. So now everyone knows that half of my left eyebrow has been drawn on for the last few days. Happy now Ronald????

Right so back to less irritating matters:


I dragged William shopping today! Well it wasn't really dragged it was more like I offered to buy him dinner if he accompanied me clothes shopping. (I got a shopping trip AND a date. I'm so clever!) I'm actually starting to wonder what I used to do without William. He makes a wonderful shopping bag carrier, he opens jars for me, he's handy for keeping me warm and he acts like a bodyguard. ...Even though he spent our dinner date lecturing the waitress and glaring at the small children seated near us.

Oh he even bought me a present! I now own a shirt with the word Uke print on it in rather large letters. Well...at least it will go with the "Property of William T Spears" underwear he bought me for Valentines day.

And before anyone asks here is a list of everything I bought while shopping
(Since my Grellettes like to know the tiny details of my life)

-A red floral dress.
-A vintage t-shirt saying "Love forever" on it.
-New fake eyelashes.
-New red nail polish
-New black trousers
-Red heart covered pajamas
-The Uke T-shirt (I didn't buy it but its on the list)

There you go~ that was my entire shopping list for the afternoon.

Hair and Make-up (A Requested Blog for HAPPYWISE)

I received a request from HAPPYWISE to write a blog about my hair and make-up. This is one of my favourite subjects so I couldn't resist the opportunity to fabulize you all into looking like yours truly~
(Also preventing possible make up disasters which drive me to murdering people)

So here is some make up tips from your auntie Grell~

1) Always invest in long lasting foundation. (Us shinigami run around a lot so as little make up touch ups as possible is always a good thing)

2) Conceal your dark circles. (When you wear glasses dark circles under your eyes are more noticeable.)

3) Tend to your eyebrows. (Another glasses wearing essential. Perfect eyebrows)

4) Buy an eyelash curler.

5) Expensive doesn't always make it better.

My Make Up List:

Concealer
Foundation
Face powder
Eyeliner
A light dusting of eyeshadow (it really helps if you know what goes with your eye colour)
Fake eyelashes/Mascara
Lip balm (Mine is strawberry flavoured for tasty kisses~)
Lipstick (Special occasions)
Nail polish

Wow Will's right I DO wear a lot of make up. I didn't notice until I wrote it all down.

Ok time for the Hair!

I've been asked a few times about my hair colour and before anyone even thinks about asking me again...Yes I am a Natural red head!

How I keep my hair looking its best:

1) Blow dry it, but not too much (If you over dry your hair it will go fuzzy and you will kill it with heat)

2) Conditioner!

3) Conditioning masks. (These are a god send for long hair. Just rub it in, leave for 2 minutes and rise it out)

4) Get it cut regularly (I get mine cut every 4 weeks. It keeps the ends looking wonderful and stops my shorter layers growing out)

I think that should be everything. I hope my Grellettes found this useful in someway.
